Doha Chamber Choir

The Doha Chamber Choir was founded in January 2016 as a spin-off from the full Qatar Concert Choir. It has a dozen or so singers all of whom are members of the Qatar Concert Choir – but the experience of some of its singers means the group has a collective CV which includes professional and top class amateur performances, awards, music diplomas and competition successes on four continents.

Repertoire

The choir’s repertoire includes works by Palestrina, Bach, Rachmaninoff and Bruckner. It aims to promote a high level of choral chamber music in Qatar, from a variety of periods and styles; and to bring quality musical performances to anyone in Doha who would like it for their own events, special occasions or enjoyment.

We offer a perfect backdrop for weddings, birthdays, corporate events or any kind of celebration; and can either create a programme for you or to work with your own requests. Much of our repertoire is a cappella (unaccompanied) but we can also arrange instrumental accompaniment if need be.
