Its choral repertoire includes Mozart’s Requiem and Coronation Mass, Orff’s Carmina Burana, Borodin’s Polovtsian Dances, Fauré’s Requiem, Beethoven’s Ninth Symphony and Choral Fantasy, among other works by Bach, Palmeri, Vivaldi, and many others. The choir also performs famous musicals, traditional folk songs, and Christmas carols. The BA Choir partook in operas performed on stage, such as the Arabic version of Mozart’s The Magic Flute; and Egyptian-based operas, such as Naguib Mahfouz’s Miramar and Yusuf Al-Sibai’s Al-Saqqa Mat.
With over a hundred members, the BA Choir participated in different masterclasses—individually and chorally—with pioneers, such as Dr. Neveen Allouba, Taina-Maaria Rautasuo, and the Egyptian-Finnish Bridge. The Choir also collaborated in major projects with other Egyptian choirs, such as the Cairo Celebration Choir and the Heaven Harp Choir.
